Is it expensive ordering fish on the internet b/c of shipping?
Shipping will run you anywhere $40 and up. Overnight shipping is getting very expensive. And yes, water is very expensive, but the large boxes also cost quite a bit more. I’d check around other places than liveaquaria.com. You don’t say what you’re looking for. If you’re looking for more rare stuff, check out Mark Denaro’s Yahoo group: Anubias Design. Also check aquabid.com. The above poster said he always got sick fish… and I never have. When you buy from a good seller, you get good fish. And as long as they’re shipped overnight, they tend to be fine. I’d keep looking locally, though. If you have to drive an hour from where you are, I’d do that instead.
