Is it ever possible to seperate sport and politics?
I don’t know.If you are speaking of the 2008 Olympics than politics will be an issue.If one truly looks at the things really going on in China,that are hidden from view of the western world ,we would be sickened and refuse to buy any product from them.People that OWN land,and houses are thrown off their land(without a cent paid for it)and developers move in and build.People have no say in their lives or go to jail,or killed, if they try to do so .The country is financially prosperous but the average citizen in more poorer than ever.Tibet is another issue with no freedom of religion.Because products are so cheap in the western world ,we turn our heads an ignore the issues.Why should a country like China deserve the Olympics.Why just boycott these Olympics,boycott all products from China.
