Is it essential to book accommodation in Brittany in advance?
You shouldn’t have much trouble finding accommodation in Brittany in June. From experience over a number of years, I would recommend taking with you a copy of the AA Bed and Breakfast in France, 2009. We (my wife and I) have on more than one occasion gone to France with nothing booked but the ferry and first night’s accommodation (often in an Ibis motel) and then arranged B & B each morning after breakfast using the AA Guide and a mobile phone. All the B&B’s in the AA book are of a very high standard and very reasonably priced. In fact some we have stayed in have been on the palatial side!! We have never had a poor one. We also have a tent (and I’m 70) and camp sites in Brittany and the west coast are of a very high standard. Have a brilliant honeymoon!!
