Is it easy to get UK transit Visa?
With an Indian Passport, you would have to apply for the Transit Visa online BEFORE you get to the airport. They do not issue the visa at the airport. But it is pretty easy to get the visa once you have purchased your ticket showing an onward journey. But they require all supporting information to get the transit visa as if you were applying for a visitor visa, because it is called a visitor in transit visa. I assume you are asking about that. However, if you are asking about a Direct air-side transit visa, which requires you to stay within the airport, you can’t come out of the security areas, then that is very easy, but you would also have to apply online, but that doesn’t require you to qualify for a visit visa.
