Is it easy to get into CSU Long Beach?
I have known many people who entered CSU Long Beach. Here in California we have two public university systems, one is the “California State Universities” and the other is the “University of California”, UC’s are much HARDER to enter than CSU’s. But with your GPA, and pulling a mid-range SAT or ACT score should get you in to a CSU, especially Long Beach or Fullerton. When I went to UCLA (the harder to get into public school system), I needed a 4.0GPA, 1600’s on my SAT’s and the maximum on my ACT’s as well. Plus I had a “full ride” scholarship (tuition, books, housing, even scantrons for tests), and there was a chance I could have been turned down even with a scholarship. It is not exactly “easy” to get into the CSU’s but they are MUCH MORE easier than the UC’s. With your GPA alone, I would think you would be admitted. Just register for admission as soon as you can.
