As I have mentioned in other replies herein the FAQ, your chances of being hired as a singer onboard ships are the same as the chances of you being hired on land. There is no difference. The only difference I can think of is that nowadays the cruise ships are hiring entertainers that make up a team. This team will supply all the needed entertainment onboard: vocalists, dancers, comedians, magicians, acrobats, et. al. depending on the ship’s needs. Therefore it is best you join an entertainment team like this. Information abounds in the Yellow Pages, Internet, or simply call the Cruise Line you are interested working for and ask them point-blank which Entertainment Agency they are dealing with, and take it from there.
