Is it easy for an engineer to become an architect?

0

It is almost certain that the skills you trained in for robotics have nothing to do with architecture. Architecture is a design profession and other than certain minimums, the complicated engineering type stuff that you might have been (but probably weren’t) exposed to would be done by structural engineers for a building designed by an architect. Depending on how general the base courses your college required (say like M.I.T. does) you might be able to thrash through architecture in 2 years, although 3 years is far more likely. Trained as engineer for 2 years and looked at architecture seriously, then went in different direction completely.
