Is it discernible between 720p and 1080 p on a lcd tv sized at 32 or 37 inches?
There is a rule of thumb that says 1080p is good if you sit closer to the TV then about twice the diagonal so four your two sizes, 64 inches or 74 inches or 5′ 4″ and 6′ 2″ On the other hand, 1080p doesn’t have to manipulate 1080p content like that on Blue Ray movies to display on 720p TV’s. This can result in artifacting and other display problems that aren’t really the fault of the TV.
