Is it difficult to switch majors after transferring from community college?

since both are science majors there shouldn’t be a problem unless you took hardly any chemistry at the community college. They’d make you take all the freshman chem classes first then. I think if you had a Guaranteed Admission agreement between the CA community college and UCLA or whatever, then you mite have some problems coz the university awarded that guaranteed offer based on what major you declared. I think those programs are called TAG or something, basically u get admitted for sure without doing the application process like interview, test scores etc. That is something you need to check with your counselor at school. Worst case scenario is you’d have to go thru the university application process and compete for a spot with the out of state transfer students.
