Is it difficult to build the external wearable driver?
The technology for external wearable drivers is well known and state-of-the-art technology is available in terms of electro-mechanical devices. For instance, wearable drivers already exist for several LVADs. Because the driver is external to the body, there is significantly less risk involved in building the Driver Unit.
