Is it difficult to bring young players on whilst maintaining the balance of the team?
Theune-Meyer: We have an excellent national football programme. We start them off at U-15 level, which gives our young players a chance to gain some experience at an early age. We were fortunate enough that the U-19s have always got through to the World Cup and the U-20s have just qualified again as well. The senior team has always managed to get through to the big tournaments, and that obviously means that you play more games, gain more experience and bring young talent on. There are some World Cup qualifiers where youngsters can be blooded, Silvia Neid knows this and she has picked a lot of young players for the winter training camp.
