Is it difficult for an English native speaker to learn Spanish or Italian?

As a Spanish learner, it is my opinion that Spanish is the easiest foreign language to learn in the world. I also learn Mandarin and would say it is ten times easier. Pronunciation is really easy as there is only one way of saying a certain phonetic. Grammar is slightly harder but easiest of any languages I’ve ever studied. The only hard part (definately in my case) is understanding people talking, but the same goes for any language you try to learn. Italian is a similiar language, they are both Mediterranean. I would say Italian is slightly harder but still quite an easy language. Pronunciation just slightly harder. Grammar is similiar and understanding people I would say is nearly exactly the same difficulty in both languages.
