Is it dangerous to fall pregnant being overweight?

No, you should be fine. The media will try to scare you, as will other people, however. There is an increased risk of certain complications, however, most overweight and obese women have totally normal and healthy pregnancies with no complications. Even if you lost weight before hand, it wouldn’t mean that things would be problem free, plus you’d probably put on the pregnancy weight faster than most women. I am much bigger than you, and haven’t had any complications. No preeclampsia, no gestational diabetes…nothing. Being overweight does NOT make you at HIGH RISK for these complications, it only increases your risk. The risk is still VERY LOW for overweight women.
