YES, most PROFIBUS slave ASICs have not implemented this telegram anymore (as a reply to requests). This message dates from the FMS days where efficiency was very important. It is easier for the ASIC core to just focus on the SD2 telegram structure for every data size between 1 and 244 bytes. The master ASICs and troubleshooting tools are following this trend.
