Foster home evaluation rules were re-written in Subchapter N of the new minimum standards, but they are largely unchanged. A “study” was never required. The requirement is that each foster home is evaluated for compliance with all applicable standards at least every two years, whether this is done at one point in time or on some schedule over the course of the two-year period. Please refer to Subchapter N of the minimum standards for specific requirements.
