Is it cool to let undies show?
Dear Beth: I’ve noticed more women from their teens to 40s are baring their midriffs and exposing the waistlines of their underpants when they sit or bend over. When I was younger I continually fought with my mom to wear bikini panties so that boys couldn’t see them when I wore shorts or jeans. Is showing off your underwear a trend? I’m not a prude or a nerd but there’s one thing that really bothers me. Girls wear low rise jeans and hi-rise underwear so that the waistline of their panties is visible to everyone. I don’t mind low-rise jeans but showing off your underwear is gross. If they want to be sexy they are failing. Most guys I’ve asked agree with me.
