Is it common for a 14 year old with non Hodgkins lymphoma to have trouble moving a limb?

I ask this since my co worker mentioned that her daughter had stage one non Hodgkin’s lymphoma and going threw lots of treatments she is unable to move her leg or arm or both. So this left me wondering if this is common.
