Is it chaper to send food to africa or America?

Well, if you’re in the U.S., it’s obviously easier (and therefore cheaper) to “send” it within the U.S. – you probably don’t even have to go far, most communities have food banks within a town or two as the level of hunger in this country is pretty staggering. It’s pretty impractical to send food directly to Africa yourself, usually you’d donate money to an organization (be selective when choosing one, too often funds don’t go where you think they’re going to). If the money is used to purchase food from countries within Africa, it can usually go a lot further than spending the money to purchase food in the U.S. (more expensive to begin with) and sending it (it’s not cheap to transport). Now, if you’re outside the U.S., it would be different depending where you’re shipping from.
