Since it’s going to cost money to list on eBay and nothing at all to list on CraigsList, I would go them first if you have the patience. Items tend to get lost on CraigsList since most people just browse the last few days posts in any given category. Unless they do a search for your specific item the chances are slim that it will be seen. If you choose to try CraigsList first, I suggest selling to someone local as you would if you had placed an ad in your local newspaper. If you do choose to sell to someone who wants you to ship the item; I would require payment through a well established online resource such as PayPal. Postal money orders are nice as well since you have to run that package to the post office to send your buyer the item anyway. The postal clerk checks to see that the money order is valid and pays you out right then. I have them take the cost of shipping the package out before receiving the money. eBay will typically net you more money on desirable items. Do a search fo
