Is it better to be trusting of people or skeptical until proven otherwise?
I think you have to be both. You have to listen to what they have to say, and then be skeptical about what they have to say. Use your experience to determine what was correct in their presentation. I am a very trusting person. How do you maintain a sense of balance when so much of your focus is on creating a successful business? It’s very difficult to have a life balance.
