Is it better to be spit on or urinated on?
Spit definitely carries the HIV virus. I have had many HIV tests which involve swabbing my mouth with a swab, then testing it. Urine, on the other hand is sterile to one’s own body. Many people have survived for many days by simply drinking their own urine. However, urine can carry hepatitis as well as other diseases. Neither one is really dangerous unless ingested, but HIV has to be introduced into the blood stream to survive. Stomach acid will kill HIV on contact and can even disolve razor blades.
