Is it better for the refrigeration unit to be air cooled or water cooled?
Properly sized air cooled systems are adequate and more power efficient for most applications, however there are many situations where water cooling is necessary. Air cooling alone may prove best during cooler months with the addition of water cooling during hotter periods. Water cooling is essential if the system is to be located in an unventilated enclosed area.
