Is it best to keep work relationships impersonal?

0

It’s a hard thing to do when most people these days spend more time at work with their co-workers than they do at home with their own families. I have found that if you have a bit of a friendship with your co-workers, you work better as a team. Having a little insight about someone else helps you to understand how they work and why they do some of things they do. This helps people come together better then if they were all totally impersonal. Dating at work is a different situation, but you didn’t specifically mention dating, so I’ll assume that’s not what you’re asking about.
