Here’s an old trick an old timer taught me. Get a piece of felt about a quarter inch thick and about the size of your foot. Place your foot on the piece of felt and trace your foot on it. Cut out the foot tracing and then right where the fracture in your foot would be on the foot tracing cut out an opening like a donut hole. Then put the foot tracing inside a lace-up shoe and then you can walk on your foot without putting pressure where the bone is broken.
