Is it bad to use whitening soap after getting dark from long hours in the sun?
Do you mean sunburned or do you mean after getting tanned in the sun? If it is the tan you want to remove, always apply a quality sunblock with high spf about 15 minutes before going out. Reapply if you’ll be outdoors longer and you can always wear a farmer’s hat for added protection. This will help prevent the tanning and retain your lightening results from redarkening. But if possible, limit your time in the sun. I use lightening soaps sometimes, and the best are the ones containing papaya, kojic acid, and/or exfoliating beads. It exfoliated my skin well, but if you already have a naturally light complexion then you’ll see more lightening from it. Since they do exfoliate, they can be drying to the skin. After cleansing your skin, apply an effective moisturizer or for greater lightening use a skin lightening lotion or creme after to prevent dryness. So bathing after being in sunlight is fine.
