Is it bad to get velour wet?

Look inside at the ‘care’ tag. If it says ‘dry clean only’ then you need to try to keep your jacket dry. If it says it’s washable, then it’s okay to get it wet, as long as it’s not something wet that will stain it. I have tons of velour pants, shirts, and jackets, and simply toss them into the washer, dry them on high, and they look as new as when I bought them … just don’t let the velour sit wet or get moldy or mildewed, because once that happens (and it stinks, so you’ll know about it before you see the damage) the garment is basically garbage.
