Most mass produced beer has a shelf life of a few months from the date it was bottled/canned. It is intended to be consumed fresh. After a few months, the flavor will begin to dissipate and it will not taste good at all. It shouldn’t get you sick as mass produced beer is pasteurized and no bacteria will live in beer.
