Dont use the alcohol on the cartilage! the lobes that is fine, and you only need to clean it 2 times a day 3 times is pushing it and may irritate it. Also use rubbing alohcol on the lobes. For the cartilage piercing use Sea Salt soaks/a sea salt mixture in a spray bottle.

A better option is to wash with a mild antibacterial soap (like Dial) or a sea-salt solution. After washing, apply Bactine to prevent infection.
