Is it bad to buy the smallest house model in a neighborhood?

It is not a bad idea in my opinion. It all eventually boils down to your own needs and what are the criteria that you are mainly looking for in a house. A smaller house costs lesser but if it is within a nice neighborhood, then its resale price might just upscale drastically when you decide to sell in a couple of years.

No! That is the BEST thing to do! You always get the best value if you buy the smallest house in the very best neighborhood, because then the value of your smaller house goes up from the higher priced homes around it. Very smart move!
