Catholics defended Pius XII until a religious writer (a Catholic) got so angry with people accusing this pope of collaborating with the Nazis, he decided to write a book denying it. The trouble is after extensive research, he realized he WAS a nazi collaborator. The book is called “Hitler’s Pope” and it is thoroughly researched and well written. Try amazon or the library. About Jesus–I wouldn’t be too trustful of ‘history’ that far back.
