well i have done head work all my life , and i have just recentally bought a serdi at a out of business sale , –i have used one on and off for years ———( i have seen many heads i had to fix that were screwed up with a serdi) i have all the new way cutters and the hard seat stones also, i can cut seats and blend everthing together better with my new way cutters , and then i will just touch up the last 45 cut with my stones because i can get a finner polished finish for the valve to seat on that the serdi ever could, i do like the serdi when i am doing big auto performance heads , —–i use the “new one ” cutter assemblie with the serdi and i can rough out the ports and the seats quicker at first —–but i still finish of the seat with my fine stones —-( the old 1940 hard seat stones are really good for finish work ) so i would not really get to carried away about having somebody do my head with a serdi,——they are not easy to really get set up and you can end up with reall
