Diane Ravitch Historian of education, NYU and Brookings : President Obama is our President. By honoring him, Notre Dame does not have to agree with all of his policies. The political-correctness impulse, whether expressed by right or left, smacks too much of the Taliban in its intolerance for dissent. We should all resist the impulse to demand 100% ideological purity.
