Is it alright to wear light purple/lilac eyeshadow if you have blue eyes?
Absolutely NO! I have blue eyes too trust me, it will look really bad. Browns and grays will make your eyes bluer and really stand out on your face. Its because the colors are opposites. Blues, greens, and purples (especially purple) will blend in more with your eye color and not really show them off. Purple could have a clownish look. Here’s how you do it: I use three shades of brown or gray (they’re usually sold all in one compact). Apply the lightest shade all over your eyelids up to eyebrow. Then apply the darkest shade on eyelid and a little ways up so you can just see it when your eyes are open, don’t forget the corners. You can be finished now, or you can apply the medium shade in the middle making sure the colors are blended. It also looks nice to put the dark shade under your eyelashes like eyeliner, just not too much. With some practice and experimenting you’ll get it perfect, but, please don’t put light purple anywhere on your face.
