Is it alright to crosspost to other newsgroups?

School of thought No.2 As a general rule, crossposting is frowned upon. If you must crosspost a message, restrictit to newsgroups that cover the same subject and limit your post to two newsgroups total. Never crosspost to newsgroups that involve completely different games. For example, don’t crosspost from alt.games.unreal.tournament to alt.games.quake3. It’s ok to occasionally crosspost from alt.games.unreal.tournament to alt.games.unreal since they address very similar games.
