Is it allowable for a student who is currently enrolled in high school to sign up for an Adult Education class?
6. Dual enrollment (meaning High School and an ICCB AEFL program) is prohibited. If you know that a student is currently enrolled in a High School and attending classes, that student is not eligible to participate in an AEFL funded program. Students must be separated from High School and have the appropriate documentation demonstrating this separation. Programs should examine the interim policy based upon the change in compulsory attendance age. This interim policy was issued by Sarah Hawker, Vice President for Adult Education and Workforce Development, and was dated Thursday, March 24, 2005, 4:27 PM. This policy is still in effect.
