Is it against Yahoo Answers Guidelines for people to copy their answer from websites?
Yes, it is against the guidelines to copy and paste entire pieces of another site into an answer, especially without giving any SOURCE link. The accepted practice is to post a small segment, IN QUOTES, and then post the link and say to go there for more information. The problem is, many people do not realize (or accept) the illegality of plagiarizing material off the web. So those types of things are done all the time – and, yes, get chosen as Best Answer.
