Is it against the HOA rules to park on the street – permanently?
• No it is not. But it can be a hazard. Here are the pros & cons: Pros: Convenient for overflow when there is not enough room in your driveway or garage. It keeps you from speeding through the neighborhood. Cons: With parked vehicles on the street, especially big commercial vehicles or trucks, it is hard to drive around them. YOu have to watch for animals, or our children, to make sure they are not darting from in front of the parked vehicle. You also have to watch out for oncoming vehicles that might be speeding toward you. If a parked car gets it, their own insurance may have to pay for the repairs.
