Is it acceptable to sandwich waterproofing plastering in between concrete for terrace?
It is acceptable. Waterproofing is being sandwich in between concrete because it should be protected from damage. If you leave the waterproofing at the top of the surface, it will be prone to damage most likely by the vehicle going on top of it. Make sure you terminate properly the waterproofing and follow the overlapping length.
