Is it a TV myth or do most Americans dislike Canadians?
I’m hoping that it’s not a myth and that most Americans dislike Canadians. How often have Canadians booed when The Star Spangled Banner is played and an American team emerges? You get it both ways: you’re protected by our NORAD from nuclear attack and then you have the gall to compare your minuscule population of 33,000,000 with our 300,000,000, making yourselves out to be exquisite citizens of the World, while America, swollen with every refugee from every corner of the world, deals with every kind of social stress and international responsibility. You did have one valid observation: many Canadians have become international stars thanks for America? But who lately? Our dislike of you comes from your two-facedness. AND Canadians are INDISTINGUISHABLE from Americans: no European can get the difference without advance knowledge.
