Is it a sensible to deadlift, squat and bench press in the same workout?

NO, it is not sensible. First off the deadlift is a whole body workout. The squat works the whole lower body, the Bench press works the largest muscle group in the upper body. Your benefits are diminished by the end of the workout, moreover, because you consciously know you have to do squats and bench press after deadlifts you can not go to total failure. It is proven that the subconscious will deliberately hold back in anticipation of more work. You would be much better off doing all of these exercise on seperate days. Work each group seperately using your mass builder as the first exercise and then work the rest of the workout with “Shapers”. Everytime you go in the gym you need to get the most out of your workout. This does not mean to go for hours at a time. I recommend making sure your workouts are no more than 60minutes. 45 minutes of resistance training is suffecient if the intensity is there. By hitting the 3 major lifts at one time you are short changing yourself.
