Yes. All approved continuing education activities must provide participants a certificate which clearly states the title of the activity, the address of the sponsor, the date of the activity, the number of contact hours being awarded as well as the appropriate approval statement indicating the activity was approved by the Connecticut Nurses’ Association. Are participants required to complete an evaluation? Yes. For participants to receive a certificate indicating the awarding of contact hours, a completed evaluation must be returned at the conclusion of the activity. Must a participant attend the entire activity to be awarded contact hours? Yes. It is a requirement for each participant to attend the entire activity and to complete and return an evaluation in order to receive a certificate awarding contact hours.
