Henry County seeks to implement a planning study effort that will result in a long-range Comprehensive Transportation Plan. The planning study shall comprehensively evaluate transportation, land use, and air quality issues in Henry County. The plan will consider a full range of benefits and costs of infrastructure investments and of state and local policies. The result of the plan will be a package of transportation and land use strategies and information to be used by Henry County during subsequent updates of the Regional Transportation Plan. Data resulting from this effort will also be used in development of environmental documentation as required by the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).
