Is ISOSettlePro able to perform allocations?
Yes. Some charge types are resource-specific, such as uninstructed energy, which is assessed by the ISO at the resource level for each ten minute interval. Other charge types, such as grid management charges, are assessed by the ISO at a higher level, such as at the SC by month. Allocations is the process by which ISOSettlePro disaggregates each charge type to the resource level. ISOSettlePro can then further allocate the charge to a sub-customer (different company within the scheduling coordinator’s portfolio), an individual contract, an individual trader, or an individual portfolio trade book. Furthermore, ISOSettlePro contains shared resource functionality, which enables one charge to be allocated to two or more sub-customers, contracts, traders, or portfolios.
