Is is true that all people with NPD cannot keep a job or be successful in life?
A NO! Although there are cases where this is true, there are a large number of people suffering from NPD who are actually very successful in their professional lives. It is common to see people with NPD do well in politics, military, writing, art and other creative activities. These people are driven by an inner desire to be the best at what they do and to have the unconditional love of everyone in their life. At the same time they have an inner sense of emptiness which leaves them feeling like nothing they do is ever good enough. There have been several studies done on current and former world leaders which indicate that NPD may be a disturbingly common trait among the leaders of our world.
