Is is possible to save the authors details within a file?
YES – If an Author enters their contact details into the Authors Details Tab under the Settings Icon, the Quikscribe Recorder will automatically save these details within every new IAF (Intelligent Audio File) created. The major benefit being that the file can now be easily be identified at anytime by any user. Additionally it provides the Quikscribe Manager with extra search and reporting criteria. Note: Management data stored within any IAF (Intelligent Audio File) normally takes up less than 1K. Or put another way, within a 5 minute audio file, less than one tenth of one percent of file size is taken up by management data.
