Is is possible to put some male hairstyles and clothing in the female catagory?

Unfortunately, the hair and clothing styles are closely tied to the meshes and they are very age and gender specific. You can do some alterations which may suit you. (Look on TSR and SimStuff to see some of the options. TSR is a pay site, but it has the biggest volume of high quality stuff.) Also, here are some tutorial
