Is is possible to mount a scope onto Winchester 3030 model 94?

If it’s a Model 94AE (angle eject) you can use a top mounted scope. People have already mentioned the side mount which I tried on my 94. It didn’t stay on there long. I replaced it with a Scout Mount. With this mount you use an EER pistol scope. Unlike the side mount, this mount centers the scope over the rifle. The eyepiece is in front of the ejection port so no problems with cases hitting the scope when ejecting them. Fast target acquisition isn’t a problem since it’s easy to shoot with both eyes open. Ruger uses this same style mount on their Scout Rifle. I have a 2X6 pistol scope on the gun. This combination has taken many deer. With newer ammo like the Lever Revolution with pointed bullets the days of the 30-30 being a “150 yard gun” are over. Good luck with your gun.
