Is Is Possible For A Car To Have 2 Thermostats?
I doubt if it has 2 thermostats controlling the water flow but cars can have many thermo controlled devices on them. Like a thermo valve that will only let vacuum or and electrical signal pass at a certain temperature. Or the timing and throttle that depend on the temperature for the correct positing. So install a new thermostat so the computer can get the correct signals.
