Version 8.x of the IM client supports Vista on 32-bit machines. There is currently no support for operating systems in 64-bit environments. We are working with technicians and customers to migrate to the new 8.x version. If your department is interested, please see our Migration document. Official support for Windows 7 (32 and 64) and Vista 64 should be available in first quarter 2010, with the 8.4 release. Unofficially, the software installs on Windows 7 by simply right-clicking the software and choosing “Troubleshoot Compatibility.” Note that any problems with this process will be unsupported by both Iron Mountain and ITS. Heals are not supported with unsupported operating systems. We will update this document as soon as we have an official release date. The Mac client is available as of 7/5/09. This client only supports the latest patch of Mac OS X 10.4 and 10.5. It will only work on Intel-based machines. Note: This application is for data backup, not a full-system backup. Therefore
