Is Iowa State a safe campus?
Iowa State makes every effort to be sure that students feel safe on campus. Every year around campus there is an annual safe walk where students are invited to participate and help make campus a safer place by determining areas that need better safety features such as more lighting. Students are encouraged to report any issues they encounter. The Department of Public Safety offers a Safety Escort service on campus between the hours of 6pm and 6am.
